The family's history in watchmaking and jewellery date back to the late 1800's, in 2023 John Pass celebrated its 75th anniversary, led by its third generation, instilled with the same family values and driven to provide unrivalled customer service.

I’d been thinking about purchasing a specific watch for a while, so I gave Matt a call beforehand and we had a brief chat about what he could do for me.

Today I went in and he had sourced exactly what I was after — spot on.

Professional, efficient and made the whole process easy from start to finish.

Initially we exchanged a few emails with Matt before deciding to visit the store by appointment. I have to honestly say that my wife and I came away from that meeting knowing we had found our Rolex AD. Matt followed that meeting up by finding the exact watch my wife had wished for her 60th birthday. I am happy to genuinely recommend John Pass and Matt to anyone.

I have been a customer for many years, with both the Newcastle and Crewe shops. I recently purchased a Rolex watch for my wife for a special occasion. The service I received from Matt and the John Pass team was exceptional. They are all very knowledgeable of the Rolex brand explaining the options available. The whole experience was very professional and enjoyable. They are an excellent family business who listen to you, making sure you purchase something you love. The staff at the Newcastle and Crewe shops are all welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic jewellers and a place I would highly recommend for watches and jewellery. Had a lovely experience at John Pass Jewellers this weekend. A watch I had purchased elsewhere needed some links removing. Matt was welcoming, friendly and helpful, and even offered me a drink while he completed the service. Reasonable price of £15 for the link removal. Left the shop but realised later we would need an additional link removed and this was done at no extra cost. Would certainly come again for any other adjustments/purchases.

I purchased a new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean today and dealt with Matt. What can I say, from the moment my wife and myself walked in to the store we were made very welcome.
Matt was not pushy and took time to explain what was available in my budget range, showing us a mix of new and pre owned watches.
No rush, he explained about each watch in detail and I must say I left with a watch I am thrilled with and to be honest was not what I had planned purchasing.
If you fancy a bit of luxury and building a relationship with a retailer then this is the pace to go.
